25 years old and from London, Christina Hardinge works independently as a freelance artist and designer, specialising in set design, and also collectvely as the co-founder, co-director and production designer for theatre company CRANK, who recieved widely acclaimed success for their production Machines For Living, a theatre production about Brutalist architects and the 
legacy of Britain’s tower blocks 

PRODUCTION DESIGN: Designing set, costume and lighting for everything and anything; commissioned works range from touring theatre productions (including shows at the Battersea Arts Centre, Old Vic, Royal Court and 
Edinburgh Fringe festival), music videos, the international tour for band The 
Correspondents, and art installations in galleries.

GRAPHIC DESIGN: Working with both hand illustration and computerised graphics, commissioned works range from poster and flyer designs for 
theatre productions in the New Orleans and Edinburgh Fringe festivals, 
imagery for artist’s websites, and logos for theatre companies.

DIRECTING: Working as a director of both film and performance, works range from live performance at the Whitechapel Gallery, music videos, theatre trailers and promos, cabaret shows at events and stop motion animation.
